George refers to his paintings as "the Colors of Hope" and claims that he has always been drawn to bright colors and has always felt a sense of joy from the process of creating images on paper or canvas.
His paintings are almost always characterized by people throwing up their hands and either smiling as though their faces would bust or screaming with wild-eyed looks of bewilderment.


He was born on August 4, 1955 in Richmond, Virginia.


Having set aside his creative impulses in his 20's, George accredits a trip to the Bahamas with his renewed interest in making art as an adult.
